Job Description:

Join a dynamic healthcare team in Tucson, AZ, providing top-notch cardiology care in both clinic and hospital settings. This locum tenens position offers an engaging opportunity in a comprehensive hospital environment, focusing on general cardiology with both inpatient and outpatient duties. Availability to start is immediate with a highly supportive credentialing process.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive cardiology care, including general, non-invasive, and some invasive cardio procedures
  • Handle patient encounters ranging from 5-20 in the hospital and 25-30 in the clinic per shift
  • Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Cardiology
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license
  • Preferably licensed in Arizona
  • ACLS certification required
  • Fellowship trained with a focus on cardiology preferred

Nice to have:

  • Skills in echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and electrophysiology
  • Proficiency in performing angioplasty, stent placement, cardiac catheterization, and pacemaker implantations
