Cardiology Nurse

The Cardiology Rounding Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to cardiology patients during daily inpatient rounds. This role works collaboratively with cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, case management, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely assessments, care plan implementation, patient education, and safe transitions of care. The Cardiology Rounding Nurse serves as a clinical resource and advocate for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. The Cardiology Nurse supports a high-volume, growing clinic by delivering comprehensive care to complex patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, quick prioritization, and compassionate, efficient care. The Cardiology Nurse provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population. Coordinates care deliver through collaboration with all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care.
