Job Description:

Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment at a Hospital in Lewisburg, PA. This role includes a mix of clinic, procedures, and call coverage, working with an adult patient population in a collaborative hospital setting. Special procedures may include nuclear reads, stress tests, cardioversions, or echo monitors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive cardiology care in both outpatient clinic and inpatient settings
  • Perform and interpret nuclear cardiology studies, stress tests, echocardiograms, TEEs, and cardioversions
  • Conduct daily patient evaluations, averaging 17–18 adult patients per day
  • Participate in inpatient rounding and consults as needed
  • Collaborate with APPs and interventional cardiology team to support patient care
  • Manage on-call responsibilities, including 1–2 nights per week and weekend rotation
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in EPIC EMR
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines

Requirements:

  • Current PA Physician license
  • DEA Certification
  • Board Certification in Nuclear and Echo Medicine
