As a RN Charge Nurse you will be a central figure in patient care, seamlessly navigating the healthcare journey to achieve optimal outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. Every day, you will strategically assess, plan, and facilitate comprehensive care across the continuum, expertly advocating for patients while collaborating with physicians, nursing, departments, insurers, and post-acute providers to ensure timely, high-quality transitions.
Job Responsibility:
Strategically assess, plan, and facilitate comprehensive care across the continuum
Expertly advocate for patients while collaborating with physicians, nursing, departments, insurers, and post-acute providers to ensure timely, high-quality transitions
Functions as a clinical and leadership mentor and coach to new and existing staff
Assists with preparation and oversight of unit schedules
Works with department management to balance schedules
Oversees and adapts the daily staffing plan to meet the department’s needs
Establishes patient assignments for a team of employees
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Registered Nurse: AR
Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 30 Days
Nice to have:
Bachelors Of Nursing Nursing and Admission to a BSN program within one year or obtaining a Bachelor degree within 2 years of assuming position
Participation in the Nursing Career Advancement Program
2 years recent Nursing experience in area of specialty
