Job Description

A locum tenens opportunity is available for a cardiac surgeon at a hospital in Atlantic City, NJ. This role requires an experienced professional adept in adult cardiac surgery, including coronary artery bypass procedures, both on and off-pump. The coverage period is from June 1, 2026, to July 13, 2026. You will work alongside physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and CTICU intensivist coverage in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform adult cardiac surgery, including CABG and arterial revascularization
  • Manage post-operative care with the support of ancillary staff
  • Participate in call rotations, approximately 12–13 shifts per month

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in the specialty
  • Active New Jersey medical license
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
