Job Description:

We’re seeking a skilled PRN Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Technologist) to support our outpatient clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced echo tech looking for flexibility, competitive PRN pay, and meaningful patient care—without hospital burnout.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE)
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort
  • Acquire and analyze high-quality echocardiographic images
  • Document findings accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Communicate effectively with cardiology providers and care teams
  • Maintain echocardiography equipment and report issues
  • Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
  • Provide patient education as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiac Sonography, or Cardiovascular Sonography
  • RDCS (ARDMS) and/or CCI required
  • Minimum 2 years as a Cardiac Sonographer (outpatient preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • High attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach
