We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department.
Job Responsibility:
Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring
Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments
Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies
Accurately document all tests and results in patient records
Calibrate, maintain, and ensure the safe use of all cardiology equipment
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring informed consent is obtained
Requirements:
Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice
Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics
Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE)
