Job Description:

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring
  • Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments
  • Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies
  • Monitor and record intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups in accordance with current guidelines
  • Analyse device data and provide expert interpretation to guide clinical decisions

Requirements:

  • Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice
  • Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
  • A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics
  • Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE)
