As the Card Program Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day transactional aspects of the corporate card program, ensuring data integrity, compliance with audit procedures, and timely account reconciliation. This role requires strong attention to detail and advanced proficiency in data management tools, especially Excel. You will serve as the front-line support for cardholders, providing exceptional customer service and resolving operational issues efficiently. You will work under the guidance of the Corp Card Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Execute daily and month-end processes, including managing card issuance, cancellations, limit changes, and performing thorough reconciliation of corporate card accounts
Assist in the accounting close procedures related to the card program, including monthly accrual processing
Establish daily and month-end processes to flag and address data quality and integrity issues in source data and reports
Provide support for ad-hoc analytic reporting requests from the Finance team by extracting and manipulating data
Assist in monitoring card usage and transactions to ensure adherence to internal corporate policies
Support internal and external audit requests, and help maintain program controls to mitigate financial risks
Serve as the first point of contact for corporate cardholders, providing prompt and exceptional customer service to resolve operational queries and escalated issues in a timely manner
Actively participate in process improvement activities by identifying opportunities to streamline transactional workflows and leveraging G-Suite applications for efficiency
Requirements:
Typically 1-3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or customer service role with exposure to corporate card programs, accounts payable, or reconciliation processes
General accounting experience is required
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, Macro’s) is a must
Proficient using G-Suite applications (Google Sheets, Docs)
Familiarity with financial systems like AMEX at work, Visa Clarity, other corp card programs
Superior customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication are essential for supporting cardholders
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail are required to manage reconciliation and data quality
Basic understanding of the corporate card lifecycle and financial accounting practices
Experience resolving issues and mitigating risk in a customer-facing financial context
