Job Description

Help create warmer, greener homes and make a real difference for our tenants. We're looking for a Caron Reduction Officer to support the delivery of our ambitious carbon reduction and home energy improvement programmes, including the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund Wave 3 initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving the energy efficiency of our homes, reducing fuel poverty and helping us achieve our sustainability goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the delivery of retrofit and decarbonisation projects across our housing stock.
  • Coordinating programme data, property information and project milestones to keep delivery on track.
  • Working closely with tenants, contractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance with grant requirements and reporting obligations.
  • Assisting with site visits, surveys and quality checks to ensure works are completed to a high standard.
  • Monitoring programme performance, identifying risks and helping drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting housing, asset management, retrofit, planned works or similar property-related programmes.
  • A customer-focused approach with experience working with tenants in occupied homes.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage data accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.
  • A relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) in housing, construction, sustainability, energy, environmental management or project delivery.
  • A full UK driving licence.
