Job Description:

This role involves managing a car wash site, recruiting and training employees, overseeing operations, growing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It requires leadership skills, retail experience, and a driver’s license.

Job Responsibility:

Ability to successfully recruit and onboard new employees
train and coach staff
schedule employee shifts with strict adherence to overtime policies
perform activities around employee engagement, performance management, and recognition
maintain a focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitability
manage operating P&L metrics and understand how expenditures/costs impact business margins and pricing
ensure that customers are satisfied and that any inquiries, incidents, and issues are resolved in a timely manner
ensure the site follows all approved safety procedures
ensure the site follows all approved vehicle damage claim procedures
perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

Strong leadership and communication skills including active listening
experience with team building
excellent sales and customer service skills
ability to anticipate customer needs
proficient computer skills
strong work ethic and professional attitude
high school diploma or equivalent required
three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a management role
unexpired driver’s license required
motor vehicle record check post-offer

Nice to have:

Some college preferred
candidates with supervisory or assistant manager experience from a big box environment or auto industry, car wash, or lube store are encouraged to apply
