Job Description:

Manage operations of a car wash site including employee recruitment and training, sales growth, customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and performance management. Work in an outdoor environment with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibility:

Successfully recruit and onboard new employees
train and coach staff
schedule employee shifts with strict adherence to overtime policies
perform activities around employee engagement, performance management, and recognition
maintain a focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitability
manage operating P&L metrics and understand how expenditures impact business margins and pricing
ensure customers are satisfied and inquiries, incidents, and issues are resolved in a timely manner
ensure the site follows all approved safety procedures
ensure the site follows all approved vehicle damage claim procedures
perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

Strong leadership and communication skills including active listening
experience with team building
excellent sales and customer service skills
ability to anticipate customer needs
proficient computer skills
strong work ethic and professional attitude
high school diploma or equivalent required
some college preferred
three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a management role
unexpired Driver’s License required
ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
ability to work in damp and humid conditions
ability to work in outdoor variable weather conditions
ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs
