Assistant Manager position at a car wash location, responsible for shift supervision, staff training, customer service, and ensuring safety and operational procedures are followed.
Job Responsibility:
Successfully train, and coach staff, perform activities around employee engagement, and recognition
Perform shift supervision and assume Site Manager’s responsibilities when needed
Perform and train all duties of CSR, S1, S2 positions in accordance with company guidelines and performance standards
Provide prompt, courteous customer service and professionally resolve customer issues
Ensure that customers are satisfied and that any inquiries, incidents and issues are resolved in a timely manner
Report all incidents (employee or customer injuries, property damage etc.) to the Site Manager
Ensure the site follows all approved safety procedures
Ensure the site follows all approved vehicle damage claim procedures
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred
Leadership and communication skills including active listening
Experience with team building
Excellent sales and customer service skills
Ability to anticipate customer needs
Proficient computer skills
Strong work ethic and professional attitude
Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role
Ability to have open availability
Ability to work opposite shift of Site Manager
Nice to have:
Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply
