Job Description

We’re looking for a Car Park Enforcement Officer who is passionate about creating outstanding visitor experiences in one of the most beautiful and iconic areas of the UK. We manage 40 car parks throughout the National Park stretching from Buttermere to Windermere and Ravenglass to Glenridding. You will work flexibly on a fixed term basis up to the end of October 2026 for an average of 4 days per week between 8.30am and 6pm, which will include some weekend and bank holiday working.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitoring car parks and reporting technical issues
  • Assisting visitors where to park and how to pay
  • Ensuring parking machines are working
  • Tidy and litter picking
  • Car Park Enforcement
