Arcfield has an exciting opportunity for a Growth Manager to drive growth across our National Strategic Programs Business Unit. This role is ideal for a proven business development and capture leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. As a Growth Manager, you will lead the identification, qualification, and capture of high-impact opportunities with customers such as DEVCOM AvMC, PEO Missiles and Space, PEO Aviation, SMDC, MDA, and MSIC. You will play a critical role in shaping Arcfield’s future in the defense sector with a current focus on missile defense, developmental systems, targets & countermeasures, digital engineering solutions, models and simulation, and hypersonic test and evaluation to name a few.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive Strategic Growth – Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial interest through capture, proposal, and award
  • Build & Shape Opportunities – Lead pre-market shaping, customer engagement, SWOT analyses, competitive intelligence gathering, and pipeline development
  • Lead Captures – Own capture planning and execution for competitive pursuits, including white papers, RFIs, sources sought, and full proposal responses
  • Engage Customers – Serve as the primary point of contact with customers, determining requirements, budgets, and technical needs
  • Win with Teams – Lead cross-functional capture teams, subcontractor industry partners, and teaming arrangements to develop winning strategies
  • Represent Arcfield – Actively participate in trade shows, industry events, and thought leadership opportunities to increase visibility and strengthen relationships
  • Shape the Future – Contribute to Arcfield’s long-term hypersonic strategy roadmap and missile defense business development campaigns

Requirements:

  • BS degree with 10–12 years, MS with 8–10 years, or PhD with 5–7 years of relevant experience in a technical field
  • Possess and maintain a Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligible)
  • Proven track record leading complex captures from identification through proposal
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales targets and managing a pipeline ≥ 4x annual sales goals
  • Experience developing customized client solution-based presentations and leading diverse business development teams
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and program management skills

Nice to have:

  • Direct experience engaging with AvMC, PEO Missiles and Space, PEO Aviation, SMDC, and MDA
  • Prior leadership in IRAD management, strategic planning, and proposal development
