Captain

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
• Answer questions on menu selections
• Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
• Follow cycle time guidelines for all meals
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Communicate dietary needs and special requests to kitchen
• Inspect cleanliness and presentation of tableware
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of assigned tables
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating employees
• Follow company safety and security policies
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up/down stairs
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
