Capital Markets Principal – Worldwide Sustainable Brand Name – London – Hybrid. Our client are seeking an experienced Capital Markets Deal Principal to lead the sourcing, structuring, and execution of key funding lines supporting a substantial and rapidly growing leasing portfolio. This senior role requires deep expertise in structured finance, securitisation, and debt markets, alongside strong relationship management skills across institutional investors, banks, and rating agencies. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the execution of diverse funding lines, with a focus on asset-backed securitisation (ABS) and other structured debt solutions
  • Originate, structure, and execute public and private securitisation facilities
  • Develop scalable, consistent, and cost-effective funding platforms
  • Build and strengthen relationships with institutional investors including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and pension funds
  • Manage engagement with rating agencies and transaction service providers
  • Partner with senior leadership, finance, legal, and operational teams to align funding strategies with broader business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Lead negotiations with investors
  • Oversee legal documentation in collaboration with external counsel
  • Monitor transaction covenants, performance triggers, and reporting requirements across funding facilities

Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience in Capital Markets, Banking, Structured Finance, Debt Advisory, alternative lending, or similar roles
  • Strong track record in asset-backed lending, securitisation programmes, and forward flow transactions
  • Extensive experience reviewing and negotiating securitisation legal documentation
  • Deep technical expertise across debt products, financial modelling, risk management, and credit rating agency processes
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial strategies for varied stakeholders
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across commercial and operational teams
