To support our transition to a public company, Wealthfront needs a detail-oriented Paralegal to drive operational excellence across SEC reporting, capital markets activity, and equity compliance. This candidate will partner closely with Legal, Finance, external advisors, and vendors. The ideal candidate brings strong securities law fundamentals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to help build scalable public-company processes while supporting the growth of a regulated fintech platform.
Job Responsibility:
Support preparation and filing of periodic and current reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and related exhibits and schedules
Coordinate EDGAR filings, manage reporting calendars, and track filing deadlines
Assist with drafting and updating disclosure support materials, checklists, and internal controls documentation
Support any follow-on offerings, at-the-market programs, debt financings, and secondary transactions
Assist with due diligence requests from underwriters, auditors, and regulators
Coordinate document execution and closing logistics for capital markets transactions
Assist with equity plan administration, including tracking grants, vesting, exercises, settlements, and disclosures
Support Section 16 compliance, including preparation and filing of Forms 3, 4, and 5
Partner with Finance and Stock Administration to ensure accurate equity-related disclosures
Help maintain corporate records, board and committee materials, and governance documentation
Interface with external counsel, auditors, and internal stakeholders across Legal, Finance, and Product
Support process improvements and tooling as we scale our public-company infrastructure
Requirements:
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience supporting capital markets, securities, or public-company matters (law firm and/or in-house)
Hands-on experience with SEC filings and EDGAR
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-growth environment
Exceptional attention to detail and judgment handling sensitive information
Nice to have:
Experience supporting a newly public company
Familiarity with equity compensation and Section 16 compliance
Experience in fintech, financial services, or highly regulated industries
Experience with equity management platforms (e.g., Carta, Shareworks) and disclosure management tools
