Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an AVP/SAVP-level role in the APAC CIB Markets Operations department based in Singapore supporting the Wells Fargo Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) business in Asia. The business offers a suite of Fixed Income products of Credit, Rates, Foreign Exchange (FX), and Cross Asset solutions to corporate, government and institutional clients. The primary focus of the individual will be supporting the Sales/Trading activities for the business, performing daily controls and reporting KPIs to senior stakeholders for the FX business including products such as (but not limited to) spot FX, NDFs, FX Options, FX Swaps, Futures and other OTC derivatives products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide operational support for APAC FX Currency desks, transacting in FX, rates and fixed income securities products
  • Perform control functions such as daily trade monitoring, reconciliations across systems and failed trades management
  • Manage trade lifecycle events such as fixings, call events & triggers for Non Deliverable Forwards and Options
  • Maintain intra-day curves and pricing environments for supported products
  • Design, validate and compile P&L and risk attribution reports to ensure accurate daily risk and P&L reporting
  • Position and P&L reconciliation, including break investigation and resolution
  • Liaise with partners globally such as IT, COO, Market Risk, Ops Risk and Project Management on ad-hoc basis
  • Take initiative to streamline and enhance daily processes
  • Compile and submit MIS reports to senior stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Quantitative or relevant subjects with minimum 5 years of relevant operations experience is an advantage
  • Relevant experience in FX related products is an advantage
  • Experience with Calypso is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge with Macro and VBA
  • Flexible working hours and able to perform under pressure
  • Detail orientated with strong sense of control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical/problem solving skills

Nice to have:
