Job Description:

This is a dream opportunity to make your mark within capital oversight and within a leading player in the London Market.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the oversight and development of syndicate capital model
Identify opportunities for strategic innovation
Act as a subject matter expert delivering information and guidance on complex capital modelling issues
Play a key role in knowledge-sharing and development of best practice
Drive the capital approval process through peer review of technical papers
Support senior management in all oversight activities
Encourage an environment of technical excellence, professional growth and innovative change
Manage and mentor a close-knit, diverse and ambitious team

Requirements:

Qualified non-life actuary
Capital modelling expert
Demonstrable record of working within the London Market
In-depth knowledge of non-life capital modelling techniques including model validation, parameterisation, and scenario testing
Familiarity with actuarial modelling platforms (e.g., Igloo, ReMetrica, Tyche) and data analysis tools used in capital modelling

Nice to have:

Ideal within the Lloyd’s or London Market context
Interest in and knowledge of analytical and technical tools
