Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Capital Accountant to join a local authority on an interim basis.

Requirements:

experience of putting together the overall General Fund capital programme (expenditure budgets and the financing of the individual schemes)
line management over fixed asset register and valuations
co-ordination of monthly financial reporting
budget set up and approval within the Verto project management system
previous experience within a local authority is essential

Nice to have:

knowledge of IFRS16 Lease Accounting would be useful
