Embark on a transformative journey as a Capacity Planning Lead at Barclays and be part of the Client Service Data team, where you will be acting as the interface between Operations, Change and Central Functions, ensuring workforce plans are aligned to delivery plans, the financial outlook and customer expectations, build and maintain planning governance and tools, mainly via Tableau and Excel, to enable consistent and accurate outputs and decision making. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to collaborate across multiple business units, ensuring smooth communication and efficient scheduling. Additionally, the role holder will be producing end to end demand and supply forecasts, incorporating volumes, change, productivity, shrinkage, attrition and recruitment.
Job Responsibility:
Management of staff optimisation levels, forecasting and scheduling resources by analysing data, business volume and trends to support the workforce allocation process
Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate workforce management processes and governance
Development and implementation of workforce management strategies, processes and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficient banking operations
Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in workforce management processes and provide feedback and coaching for colleagues on these highlighted areas
Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in workforce management Services
Participation in projects and initiatives to improve workforce management efficiency and effectiveness
Development and management of staffing schedules to optimise staffing levels to meet business needs
Management of the operational readiness plans, supporting the business with meeting desired customer outcomes
Requirements:
Data science background (understanding of tools such as Tableau, SQL, Python)
Strong Excel skills
Advanced analytical capability
Excellent Stakeholder Management and Collaboration Skills: Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across multiple business units and forums
