Amentum is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services. This is a strategic role within the Resource team, supporting the delivery of Major Projects through the building and deployment of an integrating capability team members from all Lot Partners using the principle of Most Appropriate Person.
Job Responsibility:
Working with Lot Partner organisations you will be responsible for implementing a collaborative programmatic approach to talent building and development for the capability including succession plans
Working with Lot Partner organisations you will support the succession planning process for Key and Critical Roles across the Capability
Being responsible for the benchmarking of Capability ADTs across projects to assist in the forecasting of future capability requirements
Having accountability for ensuring the nomination of SQEP candidates into capability roles through close collaboration with Lot Partner organisations (including their supply chain) and Capability Stakeholders and the building of supply pools
Responsible for the effective utilisation of individuals, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and balancing priorities across the programme. This includes demobilisations, transfers and the sharing of resources as required
Provide support to the PPP People function to develop and implement Capability specific Early Talent plans and support LOT partners and PPP in development and delivery of graduate and apprenticeship programmes
You will establish and maintain visual management systems for the purpose of producing, reviewing and reporting progress, performance, events, and taking appropriate corrective action
Requirements:
Experience of working in a complex, multi-disciplinary Programme Management environment
Extensive background within Resource & Talent Management in high-hazard industry sectors
Strong influencing and networking skills
Ability to constructively challenge and drive improvements
Exceptional communication skills
Previous experience in implementing change within resource management
Able to work collaboratively with all levels of organisation to achieve successful project output/outcomes
Ability to work autonomously with light touch supervision – including remotely from team
