Job Description:

The Packaging Associate is responsible for processing and packaging cannabis products, focusing on industrial machinery usage, labeling, sorting, and quality assurance within a warehouse environment. This hands-on role requires compliance adherence, teamwork, and mechanical troubleshooting while contributing to the overall production cycle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process, organize, package, and label cannabis products in preparation for distribution to retail sites including flower and edibles
  • Monitor, measure, and record precise product weight and total units produced
  • Measure and document any potential product waste accurately
  • Learn, interact, and troubleshoot various industrial machinery and equipment that assists in the automated packaging process
  • Thoroughly cleans machinery, hand tools, containers, and production equipment in accordance with state regulations
  • Maintain quality assurance of all packaged products in accordance with local and state regulations
  • Partner with other departments to maintain efficiency and productivity throughout the production cycle
  • Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success

Requirements:

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • 21+ and currently residing in the USA
  • Mechanic/Production Experience, 1+ years (preferred)
  • Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing and meeting completion deadlines
  • Basic Math, Organizational, and Computer Skills
  • Quick counting capabilities
  • Problem identification and able to clearly report progress, status, and observations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems with machinery and in processes
  • Proactive attention to cleaning and sanitation
  • Self-starter who can take instructions, follow directions, and work independently/with colleagues
  • Strong communicator, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, problem-solver, adaptable

Nice to have:

Mechanic/Production Experience, 1+ years (preferred)
