This is a full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours per week, and premium pay for consistent weekends or company holidays worked.

Job Responsibility:

Building, repairing, and maintaining drug canisters for the automated drug dispensing equipment (Opti-Fill)
Cleaning the canisters per prescribed schedules and procedures
Auditing canister performance
Testing canister performance and investigating quality assurance issues
Troubleshooting canister electro-mechanical problems
Maintaining the canister information database

Requirements:

Demonstrate one year + of experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment/ mechanical components
Apply for an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License and provide verification before your first day
Complete 500hr. State mandatory training in product selection
Provide verification of high school diploma, GED or 2 years of equivalent work experience
Regular and predictable attendance
Work mandatory overtime/extended work week, when needed
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
Travel, when needed
Ability to remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for moving from one work area to another or within the same work area
Ability to occasionally lift up-to 50 lbs. to move objects
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer screen, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
Stooping to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word
those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed accurately
Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication

Nice to have:

Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
Previous experience with preventive maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment and maintenance of equipment in a production environment (Vending machine, Slot machine, Arcade games, etc)
Experience with drug canisters and Opti-Fill operation
Experience using Microsoft Excel
