Job Description:

The objective of this role is to deliver comprehensive, high quality pharmaceutical care to patients of Austin Health, ensuring safe, effective, and patient centred medicines management. The position supports the broader healthcare team through expert clinical input and collaboration across all aspects of medication use. As a rotational role within cancer services and clinical trials, the position contributes to service continuity, development of broad clinical expertise, and the consistent delivery of best practice pharmacy care throughout the organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver comprehensive, high quality pharmaceutical care to patients of Austin Health, ensuring safe, effective, and patient centred medicines management
  • Support the broader healthcare team through expert clinical input and collaboration across all aspects of medication use
  • Contribute to service continuity, development of broad clinical expertise, and the consistent delivery of best practice pharmacy care throughout the organisation

Requirements:

  • Proven clinical pharmacy expertise within cancer services and/or clinical trial settings
  • Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care
  • Strong consumer‑centred focus, ensuring service delivery that prioritises patient needs and enhances overall care experiences
