Canberra Veterinary Emergency Service (CVES) are an Emergency Hospital providing an after-hours service, operating weeknights from 6pm to 8am and 24 hours on weekends and public holidays. Our practice is a purpose-built facility that offers state of the art equipment, with a full team of vet professionals that will mentors and support you in any emergency environment. You will work with a great team of professionals and friends! As a member of our veterinary team, you would be provided both on-the-job and external training to help you provide excellent Emergency and Critical Care to your patients. You would be supported by an amazing team of vet nurses, specialist trained client care representatives, and a managerial team dedicated to helping you achieve your career goals. We welcome experienced vets to apply, whether you are a seasoned ECC vet or wishing to invest in your future with development and support to help grow you.

Requirements:

  • BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia
  • MANZCVS qualifications are highly desirable but not required

  • An adept learner willing to explore new horizons and accept change when based on sound professional foundations
