Introducing IFI, and why you want to be a Campus Liaison with us: International Friendships, Inc. is a growing faith-based organization, whose mission is to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international college students. We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role
  • Work with campus offices to find ways to serve international students
  • Grow positive and mutually beneficial relationships with staff and faculty
  • Research and identify resources that foster good will among the community, such as Facebook pages, public transportation information for students, and various documents and websites
  • Work together with other staff in their area of responsibility to model effective teamwork
  • Attend all campus ministry meetings
  • Build and maintain a positive and effective relationship between the non-profit organization IFI and the Ohio State University
  • Communicate IFI services to the university and international students effectively
  • Coordinate campus ministers to engage with the campus to reach international students to show hospitality and extend God's love globally

Requirements:

  • Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
  • Is faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mission from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel
  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
  • Be a self-starter, as well as a team player
  • Ability to work under stress and be flexible
  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Cross-cultural ministry experience is preferred

Nice to have:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in communication is preferred
  • Cross-cultural ministry experience is preferred

  • Mobilize at least 3-10 church partners & 20-50 volunteers
