Job Description:

A loving, fun and welcoming family in Camperdown is looking for a nurturing and experienced nanny to join their family. The family have 3 boys (6,4 and 8 months), predominately the care will be for the youngest (8months old). The ideal candidate is calm, reliable, and truly passionate about working with children — particularly infants. This is a long-term role where we hope to welcome someone into our family and build a lasting, meaningful relationship.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing sole care for the 8-month-old baby
  • Follow nap and feeding routines
  • Taking baby for walks or outdoor activities
  • Light household duties during naps: Washing dishes, tidying toys, light vacuuming
  • Baby laundry and bottle sterilising
  • Walking their small, friendly miniature schnauzer
  • Occasionally picking up/dropping off the middle child locally (within Camperdown)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
  • Childcare qualifications preferred
  • Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • Have a current Working With Children’s Check
  • Display strong communication skills and speaks English
  • Non smoking
  • Full drivers license and own car (Car seats will be supplied)
  • Experienced with infants (including nap and feed routines)
  • Calm, caring, professional and warm
  • Able to remain composed under pressure
  • Trustworthy and proactive
