Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CAM Accountant to support our portfolio during a medical leave coverage through the end of January, with a strong possibility of extension. This is a hybrid role based in El Segundo, with remote work on Fridays only. The ideal candidate will bring strong CAM reconciliation experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform annual CAM reconciliations and assemble detailed support for tenant review
  • Complete semi-annual and annual tax reconciliations
  • Perform annual insurance reconciliations
  • Ensure accuracy of reconciliations through expense, billing, and rent roll tie-outs
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecast CAM calculations
  • Perform quarterly recovery accrual calculations
  • Review and abstract lease language, as applicable
  • Assist with CAM reconciliation audits
  • Set up and maintain the integrity of CAM pools
  • Respond to and support tenant CAM inquiries and correspondence
  • Assist with preparation of annual rent letters
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • CAM accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial spreadsheets
  • Experience working with Yardi or similar property management/accounting systems
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls
  • Ability to interpret commercial lease language
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
