Job Description:

Our client provides managed IT services, business phone systems, cloud computing solutions and 24/7 support to businesses across Australia. The company specialises in integrated IT services including VoIP phone systems, cloud hosting, IT audits and ongoing support. We are seeking a temporary Telesales / Appointment Setter to support a growing business with a small operational team. Your main responsibility will be to contact prospective clients and existing leads by phone, outline the services offered, and schedule appointments or consultations for the Business Development Manager. This temporary role offers part-time hours of approximately 18 hours per week across three days (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and will commence in February 2026 for a approx. 3 months. Extension of contract will be based on performance and success outcome.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform high volume of outbound calls to leads and prospective clients
  • Communicate clearly about company services (IT support, phone/VoIP systems, cloud services)
  • Qualify leads by asking screening questions (e.g. business size, needs, interest)
  • Schedule appointments or follow-up calls with appropriate sales/consulting staff
  • Record call outcomes and lead details in the CRM/database
  • Follow a calling schedule and meet weekly appointment-setting targets

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales, telesales, call-centre work, or appointment setting is highly regarded
  • Friendly, clear verbal communication skills with a positive phone manner
  • Basic understanding of IT services or willingness to learn about cloud/phone/IT services
  • Ability to log and track leads and follow-ups accurately
