We are looking for a Call Center Specialist to join a busy Information Technology team in Irmo, South Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and provides dependable support in a fast-paced call center setting. The person in this role will manage incoming calls, document customer information accurately, and maintain detailed case records using business systems.
Job Responsibility
Handle a steady volume of incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
Record caller details, messages, and follow-up information accurately in a shared tracking spreadsheet
Open and maintain case records in Salesforce to support issue tracking and service documentation
Provide clear and courteous assistance while identifying customer needs and directing requests appropriately
Keep call documentation current and complete to ensure team visibility and continuity of service
Use customer service tools and office applications to support daily communication and case management
Requirements
Proficient in both Spanish AND English
Previous experience in call center customer service or an inbound call environment
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
Proficiency with basic office tools and shared spreadsheets
Experience using customer service software and case management platforms such as Salesforce
Strong attention to detail when entering messages and documenting customer interactions
Reliable organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks during busy periods
Nice to have
Familiarity with Ethernet or general technical support terminology is preferred
