Job Description:

As an emission verification engineer, you will be part of a team which verifies our best-in-class engines and after treatments on emission performance under all conditions within the defined constraints.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop heavy-duty diesel engines with focus on engine emission and after treatment performance verification
  • Verify integrated performance of many engine and after treatment functions with the team, all with the goal to prove optimal fuel economy and emission performance within the defined constraints
  • Take initiative to constantly improve tools and processes
  • Documentation of test results, tool usage and possible improvements
  • Collaboration in teams to support several projects
  • Report to the Engineering Supervisor of the EAS Systems Verification team

Requirements:

  • Master degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Close affinity with internal combustion engines
  • Knowledge of DOC, DPF, urea dosing, and/or SCR systems
  • Engine testing experience, preferably on heavy-duty truck engines
  • Knowledge of statistics

Nice to have:

  • Experience on heavy-duty truck emission verification is a pre
  • MATLAB experience (modeling and scripting) is a pre
