Job Description:

Our client, located in Oakville Ontario is looking for their next calibration technician. This is a 12 month contract with an opportunity to go permanent. If you have a mechanical aptitude, calibration knowledge and experience working with a CMS software, this role is for you! Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual, who works quickly and methodically to ensure equipment is safe for operation and calibrated to industry standards.

Job Responsibility:

Execute accurate, correct, and repeatable calibrations of equipment
Approve items that meet tolerances and product specifications
Assist with scheduling and assigning calibrations
Inspect equipment using electronic and pressure equipment
Document all of the above within company and ISO standards

Requirements:

1 – 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
Experience using a CRM system- Salesforce an asset
Experience using hand tools
Experience with 3-D Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physically able to stand for durations at a time and lift 50 pounds
Valid passport and able to travel and work in the US 1-2 times within the year

Nice to have:

Experience using a CRM system- Salesforce an asset
