Job Description:

The Cafe Milano Kitchen Commis I assists the Chefs in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and helps maintain a high standard & quality of food preparation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and given instructions
  • Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them
  • Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen
  • Apply sound knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively
  • Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude at all times
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef or Restaurant Chef

Requirements:

  • A minimum of at least 1 year of experience in the similar role in a luxury brand
  • An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
  • High level of understanding and knowledge of kitchen operations
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
