Job Description:

Love fast-paced retail and leading from the front? Passionate about coffee and people? We seek an experienced and driven store Manager with barista skill to lead and inspire our team. Our Cafés are about sharing the Allpress brand experience with our coffee drinkers by delivering a premium hospitality experience, tasty brews and exceptional customer service. We have a range of specialty coffee on offer, with selection of in-house baked goods which complement our coffee offering. This is a full-time position, based in our Espresso Bar in Ponsonby. The position operates on a rostered basis across seven days per week, within our daily operating hours of 7:30am - 4pm.

Job Responsibility:

Work closely with our NZ Hospitality Manager and partners to enhance café performance and ensure we provide a consistent premium experience and successful execution on brand and marketing initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven barista skills and experience using specialty coffee
  • Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities in developing, supporting, and motivating a team
  • Thrive in a fast-paced retail store focused on customer service execution while working efficiently
  • Passionate about providing premium customer service and great coffee
  • Experience in managing the operational aspects of a café, and willingness to learn financial aspects
  • Be a natural communicator and genuinely enjoy building relationships with customers and the people around you to nurture our coffee community
  • You understand the importance of a brand and what contributes to our “brand experience”
  • You’ll be a self-motivated, directed and detail oriented
