Job Description:

Cafe Assistant - Fixed Term Contact (13th April - 30th August). We're looking for a friendly, customer‑focused Cafe Assistant to join us in Melton Mowbray on a part‑time, fixed‑term contract. Job Responsibility:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe area and kitchen
  • Prepare and serve food from set recipes
  • Ensure that the Cafe area, equipment, and contents are properly maintained in immaculate condition
  • Helping to lead and engage with a multi-disciplined team of both paid employees and volunteers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene, record keeping, and assist the manager with other tasks associated with running a Cafe
