Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Technician to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings for the design team. The role involves creating as-laid drawings of mains and services, maintaining updated records, and ensuring that all relevant parties are kept informed of the latest plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining drawing logs, updating the electronic filing system, and supporting the design team’s efforts with high-quality drawings and documents.

Job Responsibility:

Produce precise and detailed technical drawings for the design team
Create accurate as-laid drawings of mains and services
Ensure all relevant people and authorities are updated with the latest project records
Maintain up-to-date logs of all drawings
Keep the electronic filing system current with the latest plans and information
Use Microsoft Office to create and modify documents
Visit sites when required to gather accurate data

Requirements:

GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
Utilities (electrical infrastructure) sector experience
