Job Description:

We're looking for an outstanding mechanical engineer drafter who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing 3D families and layouts of material handling equipment using Autodesk Revit
  • Producing 10+ page detailed specification documents
  • Working independently with numerous stakeholders and deliver to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM field
  • 3+ years experience working in a 3D environment
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit, including layout creation and sheet creation
  • Experience delivering detailed drawing packets that include views, dimensions, and annotations while following established standards and templates
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous direction
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently or within a group, and work with minimal supervision

Nice to have:

  • Strong parametric modeling background with experience creating detailed families and/or parts that utilize code or functions to drive modularity
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment, storage systems, and warehouse design
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, ACC, Navisworks
  • Experience creating and/or improving upon drawing standards and SOPs
  • Familiarity with managing different levels of detail with scalability
