Job Description:

A leading firm in our industry is hiring a CAD Specialist to join their team. This contract-based role is located in the San Francisco Bay Area (Los Gatos) and is initially available for a 10-12 month period. The position involves supporting office space planning and design initiatives to optimize workspace layouts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create quick, accurate test fits and space plans to evaluate office layouts
  • Revise plans promptly based on stakeholder feedback and updates
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, accessibility, and safety standards
  • Use AutoCAD to produce precise polyline floorplans following BOMA 2017 standards
  • Review and organize CAD drawings in accordance with company standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field
  • Over 5 years of experience with AutoCAD software
  • 3-5 years of project experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment
  • Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy
  • Working knowledge of building code and office planning standards
