CAD & PLM Architect

• Design, configure, and administer PLM environments and associated data structures
• Develop and maintain architecture standards across CAD and product development systems
• Build automation scripts and internal tooling to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
• Manage and maintain product data, engineering documentation, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Create and refine workflows supporting configuration management and change control
• Integrate CAD, PLM, and other engineering systems using APIs and automation pipelines
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on system requirements and engineering standards
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices for CAD/PLM usage
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability and data integrity
• Maintain clear, detailed documentation for processes, tools, and system configurations

• Extensive experience with modern CAD tools and PLM platforms (cloud‑based systems preferred)
• Proficiency in Python, scripting languages, and parametric modeling configuration languages
• Hands-on experience with API integrations and CI/CD development workflows
• Strong documentation, version control, and configuration management skills
• Background in mechanical design or related engineering discipline
• Demonstrated ability to automate tasks and build internal engineering tools
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
