As a CAD Engineer, you will be a vital member of our client's product development team, driving technical innovation from concept to finished product. This role involves contributing to cutting-edge fuel cell technology in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a consulting assignment through Academic Work, initially for a period of 6 months. For the right person, there are opportunities for long-term employment.
Job Responsibility:
Mechanical development of components, sub-systems, and systems for Lamina-based products
System concept generation, selection, and detail design
CAD development of components to ensure excellent performance, manufacturability, and optimal cost
Development of manufacturing specifications and drawings
Development and execution of exploratory test rigs and test benches
Set up, operate, and maintain CAD systems
Prototype build-up including RP printing, machining, and mechanical assembly
Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent
Hands-on design and development experience in mechanical or CAD roles within an electronic/electrochemical field
Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., metal stamping, injection molding, die casting)
Proven expertise in engineering procedures (e.g., tolerance analysis, FMEA, DFSS)
Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
Experience with CFD and FEA systems (e.g., AVL Fire)
Experience working with hydrogen technology
Knowledge of other CAD software
