Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated CAD Drafter to join our team in Gainesville, Georgia. In this Contract to permanent position, you will work closely with experienced professionals to create accurate and detailed engineering drawings, primarily focusing on telecommunications design. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while contributing to a variety of projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and finalize detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar design software
  • Incorporate company branding and logos into all technical designs to ensure consistency
  • Modify and update existing plans based on client requirements and specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and high-quality deliverables
  • Review client documents and plans related to low voltage systems for project preparation
  • Perform administrative tasks such as document verification, project tracking, and data gathering
  • Communicate with internal teams and clients to clarify design requirements and project expectations
  • Manage multiple assignments with varying deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Provide support to estimators and the administrative manager by handling overflow tasks

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software
  • entry-level experience is acceptable
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced setting
  • Onsite availability in Gainesville, Georgia

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in telecommunications or estimating
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling, rendering, and design tools such as SolidWorks and 3D Studio Max
