CAD Designer

• Technical Drawing Creation: Work closely with engineers to develop accurate and detailed technical drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools. These drawings will encompass various components and assemblies of pharmaceutical equipment
• Conversion of Designs: Translate engineering designs, sketches, and specifications into comprehensive and precise drawings that adhere to industry standards and regulations, including expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Part Number Creation: Generate part numbers for components and assemblies in accordance with established naming conventions and organizational guidelines
• ERP Data Entry: Enter design data, including part numbers, bill of materials (BOM), and other relevant information, into the ERP system with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and data entries to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements, including adherence to GD&T principles. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or inconsistencies
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and other cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of projects within established timelines and objectives
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes throughout the project lifecycle

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Design, or related field preferred
• Proven experience working as a drafter or designer in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools, with expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and documentation
• Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in data entry and management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to pharmaceutical equipment design and manufacturing is a plus
