CAD/CAM Technician

• Produce CAD drawings according to client specifications
• Produce production drawings using CAM software
• Working with a design engineer and individually on the design and development of new products
• Punch and press brake machines programming
• Produce 3D parts designs
• Products and processes – continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process
• Interdepartmental support and communication
• Work independently and provide engineering solutions
• Job Surveys and processing
• Attending trade shows and other work-related events (i.e. client meetings)
• Creating production drawings using CAM software

• 3D CAD experience with Autodesk Inventor is required
• Good computer skills
• Good planning skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office
• Familiar with Radan3D, Raddraft, AutoCAD
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different tasks
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Formal engineering qualification
• Good understanding of engineering principles
