Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cable Technician to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lititz, Pennsylvania. This role involves working on various cabling projects, including fiber optic and coaxial installations, within structured environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cable installation and testing, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards in safety and organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Install, terminate, and test fiber optic and coaxial cables to support Distributed Antenna System (DAS) deployments
  • Perform structured cabling tasks in new construction settings, ensuring proper routing and cable management
  • Assist in the setup and activation of platform components, including antennas, head-end equipment, and hardware
  • Interpret and work from construction drawings, low-voltage diagrams, and project scopes
  • Conduct comprehensive cable testing, labeling, and documentation to align with client and project guidelines
  • Diagnose and resolve signal or connectivity issues during installations and commissioning
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work environments
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
  • Utilize prior experience with fiber splicing, coaxial installations, and DAS builds to enhance project outcomes

Requirements

  • Proven experience with network cabling, including fiber-optic and coax cable installations
