Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our service team in installing and maintaining business communication systems and surveillance equipment. The role involves supporting digital and IP phone systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining cloud-based systems, and ensuring seamless system performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Installing and maintaining business communication systems and surveillance equipment
Supporting digital and IP phone systems
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Maintaining cloud-based systems
Ensuring seamless system performance

Requirements:

3+ years’ experience in telephony and related systems, including VoIP and cloud-based infrastructures
Familiarity with running and terminating cables, along with associated tools
Solid knowledge of basic networking concepts (POE, IP addressing, etc.)
Proficiency in utilizing computers, tablets, and smartphones for system management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
Experience working in commercial environments and/or construction sites is preferred
Capability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work with hand and power tools as needed
High school diploma or GED required
additional certifications in technology or safety a plus
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Positive, solutions-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Experience working in commercial environments and/or construction sites
additional certifications in technology or safety
