Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Cable Jointer who is SPEN authorised and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground and overhead cables.

Job Responsibility:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical cables in accordance with industry standards and regulations
Effectively use power tools and hand tools to carry out cable jointing tasks
Perform welding tasks for cable connections where necessary
Dig trenches or holes for cable installation with minimal disruption to the surrounding area
Conduct inspections of installed cables to ensure functionality and safety compliance
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cable Jointer
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and cable jointing techniques
SPEN Authorisation
