Job Responsibility

Manage and lead an international team responsible for critical buildings within the Nuclear Island
Design and analyse reinforced concrete structures for the Nuclear Buildings of EPR nuclear power plants
Perform structural calculations and Finite Element modelling using ANSYS APDL or similar advanced software and tools, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards such as Eurocode, ETC-C
Ensure the structural integrity and resilience of the reinforced concrete structures under various loads, including seismic, dynamic, impact of temporary works related to the construction sequence, and environmental factors
Collaborate with detailing team including drafting team, BIM Coordinator, and other designer engineers as well as the technical direction team to ensure coordination and integration of design requirements
Conduct calculations and structural assessments of design changes to determine the impact on the reinforced concrete structures and propose necessary design modifications
Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documentation for the reinforced concrete structures
Conduct structural assessments and evaluations during construction and provide technical support as needed
Work closely with construction contractors and site teams to resolve any structural issues or challenges during the construction phase
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and draftsmen involved in the structural design and detailing process
