Penn Line Energy T&D, Inc. is seeking candidates for a cable installer, who installs, maintains, and repairs cable systems for residential and commercial clients, working with coaxial, fiber optic, and Ethernet cables to provide internet, television, and telephone services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs cable systems for residential and commercial clients
  • Working with coaxial, fiber optic, and Ethernet cables to provide internet, television, and telephone services

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of prior experience
  • Working from a ladder at different heights up to 28 feet
  • Running and installing cables
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Testing signal strength
  • Ensure proper installation of equipment like routers and modems
  • Document installations
  • Use specialized tools
  • Use of basic math skills
  • Working at different heights from a ladder
  • Travel to jobsites
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • Must have professional communication skills to interact with customers
  • Must have physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
  • Pre-employment screens including background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screens
  • Lifting 75 pounds (28’ extension ladder)
  • Frequent kneeling or bending
  • Ability to hear (aid permitted)
